The waiting game.

Well I am now at 35 weeks and 7 days. The cloth diapers are prepped, nursery is put together, clothes is washed and organized, furniture put together, wrap is sewn, bags are packed, and I am ready to see an end to this pregnancy thing. PREGNANCY IS FOR THE BIRDS!

Here are some pics of the nursery, enjoy.

Thank you to my beautiful sister Brenda! The crib is so beautiful, love you sister.

The animal thing just kind of happened. Thanks Allison for all the awesome animal pillows, I love them.

This is sitting on top of the freshen up station, also known as the poop station. I believe Heidi provided this very appropriate monkey tickle poster.

That is Iggy, our newest recruit. He is a picture bomber. As you can tell the station is stocked and ready to begin clean baby production.

Put the sheet up to catch the dust coming off from the the mobile installation. Turns out the cats decided to make the crib into their little fort/playground area.

My DIY mobile.

Thanks go out to my cousin Fernie for the hi contrast pics. Miss you Fernie!

So here we are, ready to get the show on the road.

Third trimester ick.

Title really says it all. The third trimester is equally as bad as the first, except you also have to add on the anticipation that any day now, could actually be your last. For those of you who aren't aware, I was in an accident a few years back where an SUV t-boned me right at my right hip while I was on a bike. I've had some muscular issues with it since then, but all and all I was much better...until I hit third trimester. It seems as though the accident has come back to kick my butt once again. The extra weight combined with all of the skeletal changes that come with being pregnant, have flared my long lost injuries. I can hardly walk 5 minutes before my right hip begins to feel as though someone is sticking a hot poker into my side. My circulatory system in my right leg is also compromised, so the swelling causes my leg to go numb. That combined with all the other lovely (sarcasm!) things pregnancy brings about is really making the last leg of this race quite cumbersome. Luckily it's close to the end. My little parasite is also a tiny dancer. He enjoys skiing, jumping, kick boxing, dancing, Xtreme sports, all within the safety of my uterus. Fun.

Things are developing well, and my doctor continues to be happy about my boring pregnancy.

Catching up.

I have been lazily contemplating updating the blog, unfortunately for me the contemplation doesn't translate to actually doing it.

Well here I am at 23 weeks and 4 days....

and I can honestly say second trimester was so so soooooo sooo much better than the first. Baby was growing and nothing was getting in his way. He was kicking and jumping and spinning etc...etc... I could feel it all, totally weird thing to experience. Not my cup of tea.

25 weeks! getting closer and closer, bigger and bigger. As you can tell baby stuff had started to accumulate, crib, changing table, and well essentials had started to arrive. The setting up phase (some people call it nesting, personally I don't like that phrase) had begun.
