I found this article while perusing the internets, ok fine it was more like skimming, and believe it to be insightful, and educated. Alice really touched upon many of the arguments I had been having on my own. I have yet to start researching birthing plans, as I feel it is still quite too early, but these statistics will help make the early decisions.

Due Date Update

Last Monday on March 4th, we went in for our first ultrasound. It was neat, I didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but I did get to see it. I had the option to hear it through doppler, but forwent the option because seeing is believing for me. A few days later, I received a phone call from my doctor, informing me of a new due date. The due date has now been moved back to October 22ish, 2013. That's right sister (Brenda), you may have to share your birthday with a nephew/niece. How do you like them apples!

There is not much to tell at this point, but we decided to create a central point for baby news. If you want to waste some time, catch up, or simply snoop around, this blog post will be at your disposal 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Feel free to share with who ever you like. Now...On to baby news.

The first ultrasound was done on Monday March 4, 2013. Baby's heartbeat was a healthy 154 bpm, and everything was growing as it should be.

That is all the news up to now, but we have 32 more weeks to go.
